I thought doing exactly the same thing when American Home Mortgage Servicing Inc. put me through all that B.S. in Calif. 2009. Sounds like nothings changed. The communication does not happen.
Early 2009 was hell if you had AHMSI as servicer , I was current then and for 6 months it took me over 10 hours of phone time EACH month to get my payment credited ,,, Wilbur Ross had just bought AHMSI , moved all servicing operations to India and was in high gear manufacturing defaults for his junk debt buying corp to foreclose. This trash , Wilbur Ross , is one of those people that buys credit card debt at 2.5% of the default amount , knowing that he DOES NOT OWN THE DEBT AS IT WAS WRITTEN OFF and then has $10/hour telemarketers (some are parolees from halfway houses) harass you. That was his primary business prior to getting into the stealing houses business.
Steve , you are 100% wrong , the communication happened in spades … AHMSI told you to F-Off … they were going to foreclose with forged papers (see the AHMSI V. DocX/LPS suit ) if need be… They would fail to credit your payments if need be ,, they would tell you XXX and then do YYY to manufacture a default if need be …
