Woman Fights Foreclosure After Fire Destroys Home
ROBERTSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) – A Robertson County woman is fighting to keep her former home, which burned down, from being foreclosed on after she paid her mortgage off in April.
Tracye Bryant’s Cedar Hill home caught fire December 18, 2015. The home was a complete loss.
Her insurance company paid the home off by sending a check directly to her lender, Bank of America in April 2016.
Bryant got a copy of the cancelled check that showed it was cashed by Bank of America the next day and on the back of the check the reason printed by the bank was “Payoff.”
But in May she received a statement from the bank stating her mortgage payment was late.

It’s stories like this that make my blood boil !!!! Bank Of America ? Maybe we all need to define what ” America ” they are talking about !?!? When the Banks can act like criminal thugs without prosecution and the Homeowner is not afforded the protection of the Law , then I would define that as ” third World America ” !!! Conditions the Obama Administration have been working hard to create . It’s time we get back to Liberty and Justice for all !!!!!!!!!!!
