Lawyer’s name shows up on foreclosure docs filed months after she resigned

by Kim Miller

A glitch in the computer system at the Boca Raton-based law firm of Shapiro & Fishman led to a former firm attorney’s name showing up on foreclosure documents months after she resigned.

Still, attorney Anna E. Malone, who now works for Lender Processing Services, Inc., in Jacksonville, sounds none too pleased about the mistake in a letter she’s written to the firm and filed with the Orange County Clerk of Courts.

Malone resigned her Shapiro job in July, but some of the foreclosure-related court documents with her electronic signature on them were filed as late as mid-December.

“I expect a certification from Shapiro stating that all documents filed under my name or with my electronic signature since July 31, 2010 have been withdrawn and properly resolved,” the letter states.

What is more important is this story proves that not only her, but asa practice of the firm, non-lawyers are doing all the work without a responsible attorney actually having eyes on what’s going on in their name. So this tars the whole firm’s practices! It is therefore ammo for any defense attorney with a case with plaintiffs represented by these law offices. Electronic signatures are not a reason to not sign in person when present. Not present is likely fraudulent use of most all electronic signatures habitually at the firm. Just my personal opinion.

How appropriate, Malone jumps ship from one criminal enterprise into the employment of another criminal enterprise at LPS….Hahaha, and she’s worried about how docs are being filed with her robo signature, oops I mean electronic signature. So, what is she doing that is any different now, at LPS? More of the same fraud that LPS is known for and being investigated for?

While a computer error, the issue still points to the overwhelming amount of work these firms have taken on and the problems inherent in juggling so many cases.

    Cough, Cough, Cough…..Bull Sh*t

A perfect example of “kindergarden” fraud and wwwhhhaaaaattttttt? No criminal prosecution? Is that the smell of conspiracy? (from hell’s heart I strike at thee….for hate’s sake I spit my last breath at thee!- for the banks who did this to our, what is now a banana republic)

Its nice to know she went from bad to worse. Nice. Have a lovely career lying for LPS. Shapiro and fishman need to go to jail. I’m praying they all go to jail: stern Fishman, Shapiro, and all the subsequent liars who took over for stern. These people are crooks. LPS’s business nodel is designed to steal from the counties all the while they have the program for the clerk of courts and lPS.gov. They are into the government too. Would someone please expose all the evil over there please!?! This is a good start when all you need is a copy of that letter for any foreclosure case to show how things are signed–by a computer. This is horrifying and sickening and its gone on forever now. Is everyone really this stupid???
