JPMorgan Chase Shareholder’s Meeting | Showdown in Ohio-Crossing the moat

Showdown in Ohio-Crossing the moat

Posted by Tracy Van Slyke 5pc on May 17, 2011

Hundreds of people have gathered today to protest JP Morgan Chase shareholder’s meeting as part the Showdown in Ohio.  The crazy thing: the meeting is being held at the JP Morgan Chase McCoy Center is the second largest flat office building in the nation.  Only the Pentagon is larger.  And the building is surrounded by a moat!  So how do these homeowners, clergy members, unions members and more, cross the moat? They build a bridge!

Check out a couple pictures taken just minutes ago.

  4. You fools! says:

Get a efing life! Pay your bills and the bank won’t take your home idiots! Always trying to blame someone else! Instead of driving all the way to Ohio you should be out looking for a damn job!

    • Fury says:

you obviously didn’t get the memo.
people have been paying—to the wrong people who do not own their mortgages.
      there is massive fraud.

jobs were lost globally because of the ponzi scheme called securitization.
you get a life (that includes compassion for people who have been ripped off).
please do some serious reading on this matter.

start w/ the latest matt taibbi article.

      • You fools! says:

Blame everyone else but yourself! Who cares who u are paying?! Didn’t your parents teach you yo pay for what is yours? Pay your debts? Yes, it’s sad for people who lost those jobs and got scammed. But I promise you 80% of the idiots standing out in the rain on Tuesday weren’t those people! Those people want a free hand out. I see it everyday!

Let me ask you what happened to you? Why are you protesting?

QUESTION: What’s the difference between God and Jamie Dimon?

ANSWER: God doesn’t think he’s Jamie Dimon.

  6. see says:

What did Chase need security for? Were they afraid the demonstrators might break into their building and change the locks? Well the moat didn’t keep the people out. Bet they sat in their meetings looking behind their backs for the big bad homeowners who might come through the doors at anytime. Great going to the people of Ohio.

  7. AliceN.Wunderland says:

They built a moat to protect themselves….did they put alligators in it….guess they are a little paranoid.

    • You fools! says:

It’s not a moat moron! It’s a fucking pond! Look at the pictures! My god you people are nutts!

      • Fury says:

a deep, wide ditch surrounding a castle, fort, or town, typically filled with water and intended as a defense against attack.”

yep. judging from the photos and the knowledge that the protestors would be attending….
it’s a moat and not a pond. it was meant to keep protesters away.

      • You fools! says:

Wow! You really are nutty! A castle? A defense from protesters? That building was built over 20 years ago! I’m sure they thought ” we better build a moat to keep protesters out” when they were building it! Haha , you people crack me up. Look at the pictures! You have some fool standing in the “moat” and the water is up to his shins! Hahahaha! Wouldn’t it be deeper if they wanted to keep the crazies out? And guess what, there are about 5 PONDS and you can walk around them! Everything is a conspiracy theory to you guys! Good luck in life people! You’re gonna need it!

      • Fury says:

        you fools,
you seem ready to blow a gasket. you’re not making sense. i’m serious.

“who cares who u are paying?” what an odd question.

my parents taught me to stand up for what is right.
my family worked hard for the things we have, including our homes.

the banks who have defrauded homeowners have been paid many times over due to the
slice and dice, bundling of securities. they violated property and consumer laws and made a fortune doing it.

there is no money owed on a home that has been sold over 50 times to investors who were also defrauded besides the homeowners.

i agree the chase building is not a castle. it’s pretty ugly in many respects
(especially what goes on inside of their offices).

on the day of the stockholders meeting, it was indeed a fortress.
all entrances were blocked by many police.

that location was chosen w/ the moat because they were trying to keep protesters out.

        don’t be naive.

It’s about time. Those money worshipping banks have caused me and millions of others untold misery.

  9. pparke500 says:

Now you are touting Marxist community rabble rousers? Pathetic.

    • Bobbi Swann says:

@ pparke500 – Marxist rabble rousers? Are you kidding me? This is the land of the free and the brave and the first ammendment. We have a right to protest! We have a right to be heard! You are the pathetic one.

    • Fury says:

they are not marxists. they are hard working americans who got scammed.

  10. Pamela says:
