Sunny Sheu Killed After Reporting Death Threat from Foreclosure Judge Joseph Golia

“Since his death last summer, associates of Sun Ming Sheu, an activist fighting alleged judicial corruption in New York, remain convinced that he was murdered and that police aren’t aggressively investigating his death because of a coverup.”

This just in from William Galison, the author of Black Star News Article, and the friend who filmed the video of Sunny foretelling his murder.

I reposted his concerns in full to make sure they do not “disappear.”

From Galison…

Author of this blog assaulted and threatened by undercover cop

Today, June 29th, I spoke with a reporter from BI for two hours and then left for his office to give him some information I did not want to discuss on the phone.

Outside I noticed a silver van with nobody in it illegally parked across the street from my building. Sunny had been surveilled by a silver van in the days before his murder, so to be cautious I photographed the plates.

Then I noticed that there was Police parking plate in the window, showing that the cop was from the 81rst precinct, which is in Bedford Stuyvesant, Brooklyn.

As I was taking the pictures a guy in a Yankees cap approached me and asked “you got a problem?”. I said,”The van is parked illegally” ,and he replied “well, talk to the cop over there”  I looked in the direction he was pointing and asked “who’s the cop?”. To my surprise he said “your fucking mother!” I said “what?” and he repeated “your fucking mother”.

I realized this was the cop from the van. I asked “who are you?” and raised my phone to take a picture. The guy lunged at me and grabbed me by the neck, throwing me against the building. “You take a fucking picture of me and I’ll fucking crush your face” he said. A woman and some kids were walking by and I yelled “call the police” The guy yelled mockingly “yeah call the police”, to let me know that they would not interfere with their own.

As I walked away, he yelled, “you take a fucking picture of me and I’ll fucking kill you!”. I was able to get the info of a witness. To my surprise, he did not steal or smash my camera.  I do not think he realized that I got clear pictures of his plates and a blurred picture of him.

I have no question that this cop was surveilling me because of my involvement with the Sunny case. He may have been casing my building for a way to get in. There is no question that many very bad people want me dead. Sunny was killed for exposing financial corruption. I have exposed murder.

They killed Sunny partly to stop his investigation of Golia and partly to send a warning to  the public that you can’t fight corruption. If I and a few other people hadn’t acted when Sunny was killed, everything would have worked out for these murderers, but with all the evidence in my possession, I could not be silent. Sunny made a video telling the world that he might be murdered by the NYPD, and he was, so I will not tempt that consequence by saying the same.

The question for the authorities regarding me is: “what is the downside to killing Will Galison?” and the only possible answer is that if Galison dies, there will be riots, and protests, and outrage, and political heads will roll, figuratively and perhaps literally.

Otherwise it’s a no-brainer.

I ask my friends and colleagues: what would it take to bring you to the streets? My death? Your friend’s death?, Your lover’s death? Your child’s death? Sunny was a dear friend, but he did not have a big enough sphere of friends to make problems for the cops when they killed him. He had no family, few professional colleagues and few friends. My waving a sign in protest would not have helped, but what I did help do was to bring his murder to the attention of the world.

I am asking on you, my friends and colleagues, to help assure my safety. If YOU, my friends, and your friends, DO NOTHING, I or someone else in my position will be killed and the terror will grow more powerful and universal until we all find ourselves in a police state,  with no freedom and no recourse. Then it will be too late.

Like Sunny, I cannot go to the NYPD. I cannot go to the FBI, or my political representatives. Been there, done that.

Thank God the alternative press is still able and willing to bring this case into the public eye. Fortunately for me, unlike Sunny I also have friends in high government positions (and even in the NYPD) who will do what they can to make sure there is a high price for my assassination.

I will be making a video, and I will be sending around a petition for an independent counsel investigation of Sunny’s murder. I will also press assault charges against the cop who threw me against the wall and threatened my life. My main line of defense is to get ALL the information about Sunny out to the world as fast as possible, so that killing me will have less upside.

I have of course copied all the video, audio and documentary evidence to various people, and posted all the most important  stuff on this blog:

So if the corrupt scum that killed sunny are reading this; the cat is out of the bag, and harming me would be all downside and no upside.

I thank you all in advance for working with me to get justice for Sunny and to keep me alive.

First step- SEND THIS TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW!!!!!  Meanwhile, I promise to take care. I don’t want to be a martyr or a dead hero, I want to make music. I’m actually having a good time here. But we all have to draw the line somewhere.

Will Galison PS: no need or desire for letters of sympathy or concern.

From Will Galison

I have some mostly good news and some bad news regarding the “undercover cop” incident. The good news is that the “police” goon who threatened to kill me the other day does not seem to be associated with the Sunny Sheu story. The incident turns out to be a bizarre  confluence of coincidences and well-earned paranoia.

The story was this:

I saw a van illegally parked outside of my building last Wednesday, with a police placard in the front window. Being acutely aware that my Sunny Sheu story is pissing people off at the highest levels of corruption, I thought he might be scoping me out with evil intent. Plus, the fact that Sunny was tailed by a silver van before he was killed had made me silver-van-aphobic.

I photographed the guy’s plates and looked in the window. He came over and attacked me, telling me he’d kill me if I tok a picture. This reenforced my notion that he was a bad cop. The next day the van was back. I photo’d the van again and he came out of a building and started running after me.

That’s when I posted my APB that I had been attacked by a cop.

I got in touch with NYPD internal affairs and they treated me with  outrageous disrespect, I assumed it was because strings were being pulled at high levels.

So today, when the van was back I called the local police pct. t sort this out.

It turns out that the guy lives on my street (where I’ve recently moved). His wife is a cop from the 81st and he was illegally using her police placard to avoid getting tickets. When he saw me photographing his van, he freaked, perhaps because he thought I was going to get him busted.

I just spoke with the guy. It turns out that his van had been broken into a few days earlier and the lock broken. He saw me looking in the window and thought I was trying to break in or steal the van.

In any case, he was wrong for assaulting me and threatened to kill me if I took his picture, but I am happy to let that go. As long as he is not linked to the Sunny murder, its cool.

I don’t want to cause any trouble for this guy or his wife.

So the good news is that the van was not there to kidnap or surveil me.

The bad news is that I feel like a fool for alarming everybody about a misattributed and overestimated threat against me.

HOWEVER, I must stress that the facts and allegations in the Sunny Sheu case are not paranoia or coincidence based, and my concern about possible retribution against me is well founded.

The documentation speaks for itself. The cops did kidnap and threaten Sunny, the judge and bank did defraud him, he was killed by head trauma days after busting the judge, the cops and hospital did break major laws to cover up the circumstances of his death, and all FOIL requests to the NYPD have been ignored for nine months. And there has been no investigation of his death despite its manner being “Undetermined”.

Milton and I stand by every aspect of the story- and will post part 2 in the next few days.

I am deeply sorry for alarming you unnecessarily about my safety. Even still, I shall not underestimate the power of the entities that killed Sunny and still ask your support by distributing the story as widely as possible.

Thank you for your understanding.

Will Galison

Guess we will see how this all plays out.

We will still be watching. This is too much of a coincident.

by Michigan Messenger on Friday, July 8, 2011 at 8:29am

Michigan foreclosure firm implicated in robo-signing

A Massachusetts county clerk says a forensic examination of documents filed by Troy-based Orlans Associates, one of the largest foreclosure firms in Michigan, shows that the company has engaged in illegal robo-signing.

Robo-signing is when a bank, mortgage company or foreclosure company has multiple people sign documents with the name of the person who is supposed to sign those documents and then has them notarized as having been signed by that person. In the case of Orlans, the signer was supposed to be attorney Marshall Isaacs, but he has now been implicated in two states for having had others sign his name and notarize that he did so.

Kevin Harvey, first assistant clerk for the Southern Essex District Register of Deeds in Massachusetts, says a private mortgage fraud investigator brought the robo-signing to the attention of his boss, John O’Brien. That investigator, Steve Dibert, runs MFI-Miami which has offices in Florida as well as Traverse City.

“Steve [Diberts]’s work on Marshall Isaacs was confirmed by our certified mortgage fraud examiner Marie McDonnell here in Massachusetts and his name is on our registry’s robo-signers list,” Harvey told the Michigan Messenger.

Dibert spent 18 years in the mortgage industry before starting MFI-Miami, which has investigated over 700 questionable mortgage documents in 11 states and Washington, D.C. He was the primary source in providing Ingham County Register of Deeds Curtis Hertel Jr. with the information that led to a major lawsuit against banks, mortgage companies and mortgage foreclosure firms for “tens of millions” in tax payments allegedly improperly withheld from the state and county.

Dibert alleges that robo-signing by Isaacs is not the only problem with documents filed by Orlans. He says that he has identified at least six notaries public whose signature do not appear to match their official signatures on file with the county clerks where they are registered.

“Basically we found improprieties on six notaries over at Orlans,” Dibert says. “The Notary Statute says the signatures of the notary must be exactly identical with the one on file in Lansing.”

The notary public is also required to actually witness the signatures being affixed to a notarized document. Failing to do so could result in misdemeanor charges against the notary, according to Michigan law.

Hertel says he has confidence in the evidence provided by Dibert. “We are taking this very seriously, Steve has provided us with information in the past that has been very fruitful. I trust his judgement.”

Isaacs is not an unknown quantity with county officials handling real estate transactions, says Hertel. But he said while Isaacs was a regular signature appearing in county foreclosure documents in 2010, his name suddenly dropped off in late 2010 — just as law enforcement officials began looking into robo-signing allegations across the country.

“There was a severe decrease in the number of documents signed by Marshall Isaacs,” says Hertel. “It used to be very common.”

Hertel said the allegations raised concerns, but declined to say if his office, or any other office in the state was engaged in a criminal investigation of Isaacs.

Michigan Messenger has been carefully following the allegations against Isaacs since early May, following revelations Hertel had found robo-signed documents involving DocX, a Georgia company profiled on 60 Minutes. Hertel’s discovery led to investigations by both the Michigan Attorney General’s office and the FBI.

When Messenger originally contact Orlans Asociates about the claims against Isaacs, Terry Cramer, corporate counsel for Orlans, issued the following email statement:

“At any rate, Mr. Isaacs identified the 4 specific examples you sent earlier as his signature in each case. As I indicated to you, variations of signatures does not mean they are not his. The signature on his personal residence documents are his as well.”

Messenger has requested comment from Cramer related to the findings in Massachusetts and the allegations here in Michigan. However, Cramer did not immediately return emails.

Dibert responded to Cramer’s statement by dismissing it.

“Of course, that’s what they said. That’s common. Lawyers with their hands caught in the cookie jar deny, deny, deny until they can’t deny anymore — then they beg for forgiveness,” Dibert said.

Shortly after Michigan Messenger inquired about his signatures with Orlans, Isaacs filed a criminal complaint with the Farmington Hills Police. He alleged that Dibert was using a computer device to harass and intimidate him. In early June, Oakland County Prosecutor Jessica Cooper dismissed the complaint, saying it “lacked merit.” Isaacs made the claim because Dibert had retrieved the lawyer’s mortgage on file with the county and published it online. The document contained Isaacs’ home address.

Dibert says he will be forwarding his findings to Attorney General Bill Schuette and Secretary of State Ruth Johnson.

“The problem is both have political ties to Linda Orlans (the managing partner of Orlans),” says Dibert. “I’m hoping Ruth Johnson does the right thing.”

Johnson has the capacity to revoke notary public assignments as well as seek criminal charges against those officials her office determines were likely to have violated the laws of the state. Johnson would refer those criminal charges to the Attorney General’s office for investigation.

Ultimately, however, this issue goes much deeper than a few signatures which are allegedly fraudulent. Dibert says that Isaacs signature problems could result in 10,000 to 15,000 Michigan foreclosures in the last 10 years being questioned and possibly overturned by courts.

“We have not even begun to investigate the signatures on file in Massachusetts and Rhode Island,” said Dibert. “If those irregularities are found in those states I will have to consider turning over my findings to the FBI.

  2. My conversation with Internal Affairs.

Although the incident did not involve the Sheu case, at the time I thought it did, and in any case, I was attacked by a guy with a police placard in his window. Please take the time to listen to the following. It gets shocking after 7 minutes.

  3. To the webmaster:

It turns out that the guy who assaulted me was not associated with the Sunny Sheu business. I saw him again, and we figured out that it was a bizarre misunderstanding.

He was wrong to assault me, but he is not a threat to me now.

Please remove the photos of his van and the original assault story.

really appreciate your support, and apologize that I misinterpreted this incident. I erred on the side of caution.

The Sunny Sheu story, of course, is genuine, and the facts and documentation speak for themselves.

  4. “Good news” regarding the assault. Turns out the guy was not associated with the Sunny Sheu murder.

more info here. I appreciate your support and apologize for undue concern.

Where’s the evidence? The real evidence and not just empty words. William Galison is either holding back or a demented, irresponsible fool with nothing better to do.

  6. This is beyond words to discribe what is happening. It is a nightmare…..it will take this whole country on the streets….millions fighting all this corruption. it cannot continue with each one of us trying to survive alone…it takes masses of people together to fight for our freedom….Come on, if London has tens of thousands protesting in anger over pensions…what is wrong here in America. We have far more troubles than the worry of pensions…yet no protests….we are in this mess cause we let it happen over the years…in order to be heard we must do what is necessary….protest by the millions…..let’s face it…it has come down to the point NO ONE IS SAFE….that includes everyone….regardless who you are. let’s say…’AN EYE FOR AN EYE ‘….. Sad to say it has come to this……

  7. HHf says:

My advise to you is if you can go on the run. Get a camper and take off. The police will not help you. Do not use your credit cards. Do not withdraw money from you bank account. Do not call family and friends. Just withdraw as much cash as possible and run. That is what I would do if I were you. Good luck.

  8. Fury says:

crooked judges and cops in NYC?

    color me NOT surprised.

many things are corrupt in new york city. sad but true. it’s grease. they all have their hand out and want to be paid off.

many people are being extorted and frightened.

someone tried to break off our lock, illegally — breaking and entering. trespass.

we called the cops and they were thugs who took their cue from the

illegal jackboot guys who had NO legal right to their actions.

when i told them i was getting my video camera to document what was happening, they scattered like cockroaches.

Galison we are behind you. we are your ears and eyes on the streets of new york.

all citizen mortgage fraud guerillas around the world on the internet are following your story and that of sunny sheu.

  9. Joker says:

I guess Joker must help ya:

    ha, ha, ha, ha, ha.

Is that crooked Judge Golia, again?

“And I though my jokes are bad”

  10. Ron Moss says:

4closure; Thanks for exposing these Mafia look a likes

  11. Charles Fetters says:

This story needs to be forwarded to 60m@cbsnews.com. Why aren’t other media people like Diane Sawyer at ABC news being contacted.

    Every contact 60m@cbsnews.com.

  12. lvent says:

These corrupt cops can be brought to justice. This kind of behavior cannot be tolerated in a free and open society. There has been alot of corruption exposed in Chicago and alot of those corrupt individuals have been brought down. Has the mainstream press covered this story? This story should go VERY public.

  13. housemanrob says:

  14. John Anderson says:

My advice is to file a complaint with internal affairs, not all cops are bad, and if you don’t file a report nothing will be done, and send the story to the newspapers.

  15. housemanrob says:

    • Filed a complaint by phone with Internal Affairs. Unbelievable. They blamed me for taking the picture of the car.

      I will post the conversation.

      • lvent says:

That is incredibly evil that they would blame the victim. That is how they operate as we “deadbeats” in fraudclosure well know. It is a crime to take a picture? Then they better take all of their damned surveillance cameras and red light cameras down then because they are spying on all of us and that is COMMUNIST BULLSHIT.. SPYING BY THE GOVERNMENT should not be allowed in a free and open society. The Government clearly operates under the assumption that we are all criminals and I believe that violates our human rights..
