Protesting Police | “Citizens! Forgive us for not arresting those truly responsible for this crisis: bankers and politicians”

Thousands of Spanish police officers march against austerity (PHOTOS)

Around 5,000 Spanish police officers marched through the streets of Madrid on Saturday to protest government austerity measures, including frozen pensions and the elimination of their Christmas bonuses.

Officers travelled from across Spain to take part in the demonstration which was called by the nation’s main policing union.

Protesters blew whistles, shouted slogans, and carried anti-austerity banners as they marched through the city centre to the interior ministry.

“Citizens! Forgive us for not arresting those truly responsible for this crisis: bankers and politicians,” read one banner.

The Spanish government has imposed harsh spending cuts aimed at saving 150 billion euros between 2012 and 2014. The move has been met with anger and protests from hundreds of thousands of Spanish citizens.

The austerity measures are in exchange for a rescue loan of up to 100 billion euros from the EU to help the country’s stricken banks.

File a lien against the property for what you are owed. Easy to do, go to the courthouse and any one there will help you fill out the simple form and show you how to file it. Only cost a few dollars, the price of a McDonalds hamburger.. Then when proceeds are distributed, you will get your full amount of the recorded lien while others split up what’s left.
Problem is most, 99%, just sit and wait and do nothing.
We must encourage folks to get active in protecting their rights under the law. This will become even more important, if possible, in the months ahead.

No one is interested in championing our cause! We can sit on the sidelines and applaud every civil suit that takes on MERS, or the banks or whatever but guess who gets the proceeds from these actions? Nothing restores the homeowner or those defrauded. Do you wonder what they do with the money recovered. Does it go to the attorneys, municipal caches?
It isn’t trickling down is it? Still limited modifications. The banks are intent on short sales to cash investors and getting out of their mess.

I was once pulled into a suit or class actions once. I still have the check from it. I think it was less than a dollar. It took more to mail the check and notices the lawyers sent. Another remedy on a bank that collapsed owed me money for an appraisal so they put my name in the pile of debt. I got all the letters, etc. Then they said because I had only one appraisal fee claim they were giving proceeds to those who had more than one claim so I didn’t even get my 10 cents on the dollar for my work. .
So, I am a little cynical in thinking there will ever be legal remedy in the Courts for the common man, middle class, defrauded homeowner. We are nothing but pawns in the game. In fact after the recession and loss of income for us, I am watching first hand the 1% buying their expensive houses, taking advantage of low rates and the loss of others. They still shop at Macys and I am at the thrift store. It lets me firmly believe we need to increase taxes on the rich instead of continuing to let them rise to the top like cream while we deal with skim milk.
Yup, I was a farm kid, still working hard well into golden years, making less, except paying a school loan at an interest rate NO ONE pays now, neither bank or a high end home buyers.
    Deck stacked against us!

it is only a matter of time for our police and sheriffs here in the united states to figure out they too owe hundreds of thousands of US citizens apologies! The courts have received their notice of depleted pensions because of the securities and mortgage fraud, how did the police miss the memo? STOP EVICTING PEOPLE AND START ARRESTING THE REAL CROOKS!

      Dream on Rene ,

In my town the police/city ran an illegal traffic camera ticket operation that brought in millions each year in fines ,,, money stolen from it’s citizens … and they fought back lawsuits as long as they could … last year the state legalized the cameras and the prior actions were found to be blatantly illegal … the cops were involved in HUGE theft … What a surprise … now they will have to pay back tens of millions of $$$ ,, so what do you do ?? Simple , Jack parking fines 60% and remove 90% of the legal parking …

Authority figures will never admit to anything and will never change. They are ALWAYS right and YOU will always pay.

What is feared is a judge that grants you the jury trial you applied and sued for.

How would you like to be on a jury in a case where someones home was taken illegally?
Would you consider giving money equal or above that amount their home was worth plus damages for the crookedness of the act?

How much do you think would be fair as restitution for being kicked out of your home, twice the amount of the home? Three times? 100 times?

Think about it. That is what is feared. You can bet the banks and mortgage companies are spending much time discussing and thinking about it.

I , like many here it seems , are in a holding pattern where the banksters know they’re trapped and will be forced to produce in discovery , I HAVE ALL THE MONEY INFO FROM SOUP TO NUTS INCLUDING TITLE/CLOSING COMPANY FAXES AND E:MAIL INSTRUCTIONS , and anything they attest to will be swatted down. Therefore they are just in a delay delay delay mode … I know how it will end … and the good news is that it (mortgage wise at least) will end well for everyone that is fighting AND for those that are simply waiting in the wings to be sued… We are on the verge of a monetary collapse that is missing only a trigger event … a creditor needs to demand repayment … THAT’S ALL … we will then go into a hyperinflationary bubble … strong inflation is already with us now … just ask anyone that shops for groceries. All you need to pay off your mortgage is to buy one booklet of “forever” stamps at the post office and wait for them to be worth $2Billion a stamp … then pay off your “debt” with a stamp… let them keep the change. It doesn’t really matter what “award” you may feel entitled to in a settlement ,, just turn whatever you get into hard goods and FOOD immediately.

Good luck with that. I had all the evidence of bogus paperwork, faulty foreclosure, sued with help from a name attorney successful at working big cases but we got one of those one track mind judges who are not sympathetic to the homeonwer and a one track mind. “A default is a default is a default!” The homeowner signed a paper agreeing to make payments and failed, black and white, clear as day, regardless of reason or fraud by lender.
What is truly amazing is that people can shoot their spouses and its justifiable because some lawyer says they were abused, so they get to walk. We were abused, defrauded duped by people who fooled us. We trusted them to do the right thing and they didn’t so what do we get?

  5. lies is all they tell says:

what we all need to do is get educated
    google zeigeist addendum
yes it is a ponzi scheme and thank god for some good lawyers and judges in florida we are starting win our homes back.

  6. lies is all they tell says:

please google flouride inthe water. we have been ingesting flouride. in a sense the government has given us all chemical lobotomies. watch the planet of the apes. the humans are us the apes are our “government” why are we not rushing the streets.??????

    • neidermeyer says:

Flouride is not “THE” problem , true it is a poison and is consumable safely only in tiny quantities… and it is also true that the gov’t wants a dumbed down populace but their method is right in front of you … The public school system .. little is demanded from students and nothing is expected , your typical HS graduate today has the same knowledge base as a 6th grader in the 1950’s.
