At my age of 72 years, I find this the most disgusting frig’n ploy ever pulled on our country. The horrible 9/11 left me with an unsecured feeling that never left me. So being on guard and knowing if that can happen in America, anything can happen. To think…while this horrible tragedy struck everyone.. and our minds were in a state of confusion wondering how could this happen..where was this countries protection? Little did we know or realize that another tragedy was already planned..a ploy to deceive and take this country to ruins. Let’s say no time lapsed and it began according to plans. The financial industry knew when the ball would start to drop, so time was of essence to push as many liar loans through, ARM’s and Sub-primes were in the plans. Fraud was reported to the Justice Dept. in 2004 but that was as far as it got…reported. The greed took the financial industry to high profits, millions and millions in salary and bonus into deep pockets that kept getting deeper. The writing was on the wall, we just didn’t see the dirty hand prints. We trusted government and the various agencies… who had two faces….one face wore a mask to face the citizens and the other wore a smile for their ‘comrades’…a job well done. One can only believe that this deliberate premeditated ‘plan’ to gain some evil power to take America to ruins,… a higher power has given America more strength now than ever and showed us the way to gain back the country that once was a beautiful country.. a country to be proud of. The fraud was spread like a cancer and they were so sure they held complete control and anyone beneath their level would not be smart enough to know what went on behind closed doors. Well, the doors are now opened for all to see and hear of the many ways fraud was committed, the proof is there…now for indictments…Madoff’s crime was a ponzi/fraud and he is in prison. Certainly nothing compared to this. He hit the wealthy so he must pay for his crime. Right? Yet not one indictment has come forth with this crime done to not only this country but the world. Shall we start building the cement structured prisons now so they are ready to be called home to many involved in racketeering? The country needs jobs and this is a good start.
@Marilyn, our beautiful country that we worked so hard to make it honorable and to make sure peoples right’s were protected. All gone , in as short as ten years. They have tried to destroy our beautiful country, will we be able to stop it from desending into hell? Everything generations have fought for to be proud of in our country ..almost wiped out. I sent comment to the White House.gov website regarding the possible legislation being drafted by the LAME DUCK CONGRESS REGARDING LETTING THE BANKS LEGALLY FRAUDCLOSE ON ALL OF US. All I can say is that the banks should not be in charge of money if they can not manage what they have before them. All the money bailing them out, if gone to homes and mortgages, all would be squared. They are wasting money delaying and then they end up with everything. There are soooo many cases, it is not the people. Like saying New Orleans people were stupid and reliable for their own losses knowing they lived below sea level. We need to keep the middle class going if the upper class plans on any more profits with out rebellion.
I agree if they had of given the money to the homeowners they would have saved theri homes. But the banksters kept the money and the powers that be were all in on it. we are doomed if we dont start standing up and defending ourselves. our tax dollars is supposed to protect us from criminals but now we are giving our tax dollars to the criminal directly.
