Action Alert for Citizen Warriors – What Could Foreclosure Fighters Do Now After the Criminal Guilty Pleas
DOJ: Fraud and Forgery is a Crime (Even) when Committed by Banks.
What could foreclosure fighters do now that the Mortgage document crimes have moved beyond allegations to guilty pleas with last Tuesday’s guilty plea by DocX founder Lorraine O’Reilly Brown?
If you only have 30 minutes and less than $1:
– copy the plea agreement and mail it or fax it to the Chief Judge of the Circuit Court In your judicial district and ask that judge to take immediate action to make sure that all of the foreclosure cases involving a DocX mortgage assignment or Affidavit are dismissed.
– send a copy of the plea agreement to the State Attorney in your district and ask that he/she conduct an immediate investigation of the use of these forged documents in your district.
If you have an hour,
– send the plea agreement to your newly elected state and U.S. representatives and ask that they push for a Congressional inquiry and a moratorium on foreclosures. Ask specifically that all foreclosures that involve mortgages that were supposedly assigned to new owners anytime after 2008 be put on hold.
If you have several hours to research,
– prepare a report on the DocX mortgage assignments in the official records of your county. Which banks, trusts and law firms used these documents. (no need to research Palm Beach County – this report will be released next week.)
Please, Share your findings.
Be sure to send your findings to Florida Representative Alan Grayson, Maryland Congressman Elijah Cummings and Massachusetts Senator Elizabeth Warren. Please send your research also to Illinois Attorney General Lisa Madigan and Michigan Attorney General Bill Schuette. These are some of our strongest allies.
Please remind all officials that these fraudulent documents go far beyond one individual from one company and that – despite all of the revelations – foreclosures by banks that can’t prove ownership of mortgages continue and are on the rise.
It is time for much more hard work.

Ask the Mayor about the fraud within his City. His Special assistant is all over the fraudulent documents in the recorders office. She is aligned with Ford Motors and others. The Car dealers Manufactures are highly involved in the fraud that is being perpetrated on the homeowners,

One slight alteration/addition for Florida people – in accordance with the Memo to All Florida Clerks of the Court from our AG BLondi (June 08, 2012), upon being notified of falsified filings, they are to forward the notifications to the State Attorney’s Office – we need to involve more public officials to force action and prevent their ability to say they didn’t know there is a problem.
You know, you’ve done a lot M.R., but things like this AND people filing complaints of violations of law (which are many and easy to document) MUST be increased in order for us to turn things around non-violently in this country! As Mr Garfield recently put it, it is the stabilization of the Real Estate market by ENFORCING the existing laws that will in fact stabilize things NOT the ignoring of ongoing criminal conduct!! This is the stuff we need. Thank you for directions. Many of us have the desire to make a difference but do not know where to start.
We have this problem in Bankrupcy courts in St.Louis. The problem is simply that the phone lines are redirected. The Trust are voided , they have resold the loans in a secondary market not letting the homeowner know the truth. They are then forcing homeowners into foreclosure by deceit and lies. They will then terminate your employement forcing you into Bankrcupy. The Court then does the dirty work for the mortgage company.
They are resecuritizing loans without your knowledge. If you are the person that seem to keep it together , they will start financially interrupting you life. Causing damage to your home and personal property. They have resources to know how much money is in your account. They will steal everything you have. The unemployment ( Illinios and Missourrri ) are filled with employess that either work in the real Estate industry and are previous employees of Wellsfargo. The Bankrupcy attorneys now have a Wellsfargo employee as part of their staff. This s blantant fraud ! re-Affrimation Agreements are soured. Why? Because they are meant to fail. They are filled with fraud and the courts know this.
