Man accused of a shooting murder has been refused bail, with his three children now living without parents and facing foreclosure.

A father charged over the shooting murder of another man has been refused bail despite arguing his family home – where his three daughters live – is facing foreclosure.

Matthew Charles Draganoff, 44, is charged with the murder of Simon Middleton at Virginia on March 8, and firearms offences.

Jasmine Daniel, for Mr Draganoff, told the Adelaide Magistrates Court her client’s circumstances had “changed dramatically” since his arrest in March, which should allow him to be released on bail.

She said the mother of his three daughters – Amanda Draganoff, 51 – is also in custody, meaning their children, aged 8-21, had been without their parents for almost six months.

Ms Draganoff is charged with aiding and abetting Mr Middleton’s murder.

Ms Daniel said the couple’s children had been “served this morning with a notice of default and foreclosure of the property”.
