42 USC 1983 | It’s Time to OWN Some Cop Homes, Cars, Boats and Other Possessions #OWS

The Market Ticker – 42 USC 1983: Learn It, Live It OWS

It’s time for the protesters to bone up on the law.  Specifically, due to this:

Tennessee state troopers for the second straight night arrested Wall Street protesters for defying a new nighttime curfew imposed by Republican Gov. Bill Haslam in an effort to disband an encampment near the state Capitol.

And for a second time, a Nashville night judge dismissed arrest warrants of the arrested protesters.

The Tennessean newspaper reports that Magistrate Tom Nelson told troopers delivering the protesters to jail that he could “find no authority anywhere for anyone to authorize a curfew anywhere on Legislative Plaza.”

Now these cops are cooked — and not just the city either — the cops are PERSONALLY liable.

Here ‘ya go folks… here’s your ticket to own some cop homes, cars, boats (if they have them) and other possessions.

Every person who, under color of any statute, ordinance, regulation, custom, or usage, of any State or Territory or the District of Columbia, subjects, or causes to be subjected, any citizen of the United States or other person within the jurisdiction thereof to the deprivation of any rights, privileges, or immunities secured by the Constitution and laws, shall be liable to the party injured in an action at law, suit in equity, or other proper proceeding for redress, except that in any action brought against a judicial officer for an act or omission taken in such officer’s judicial capacity, injunctive relief shall not be granted unless a declaratory decree was violated or declaratory relief was unavailable. For the purposes of this section, any Act of Congress applicable exclusively to the District of Columbia shall be considered to be a statute of the District of Columbia

Go get ’em Nashville protesters.  It’s time to take these cops willful and knowing violation of your civil rights, as you have a judge who has declared your arrest unlawful and in violation of those rights, right back to court and tattoo each and every one of them with a nice fat civil judgment.

In short, you’ve been screwed out of your house.  Now go get some redress and evict a few of these jackbooted thugs from theirs, legally, and render them homeless.

The best way to stop this crap is to render the so-called “law enforcement officers” doing it penniless.

The local media in Chicago reported a couple of months ago that the G-8 summit is going to be held here next spring….the U.N. is going to be brought in for crowd control…JUST IN CASE there are riots something like the 1968 democratic convention….the U.N. has NO LEGAL AUTHORITY AT ALL in the States..More treason….The local news reporting Sheriff Tom Dart says the Sheriffs Dept is going to start helicopter checks of peoples back yards checking for possible kidnapping victims being held hostage in peoples back yards? all because of the Jesse Dugard case.THIS IS CHICAGO….NOT CALIFORNIA….YOU CANT KEEP A HOSTAGE IN YOUR BACKYARD IN 40 BELOW ZERO WEATHER…ARE THESE PEOPLE INSANE WITH THESE EXC– USES FOR USURPING OUR RIGHTS..?..You just can’t make this stuff up…I swear to God, tonight right before I saw that news report, there was a helicopter with a search light on it hovering over my backyard and my neighbors..my husband said I wonder what they are looking for? Never witnessed anything like this before…Only one other time did I have a police helicopter almost land in my yard looking for a murderer they were chasing… but that was during the day, never at night..This shit is getting stranger and stranger….This all reminds me back a year ago I called the FBI to report my mortgage fraud..I asked the FBI agent who was a woman, should I call FINCEN? and she said FINCEN..what’s that? and I said I don’t know…she asked me if they had a website and if it was a .gov…I said yes, and told me to call them.and she would check out their website..so I called them…they told me I had to call the FBI about mortgage fraud…….I called back the FBI and told her what they said, the FBI agent told me to call the police…..I found out that FINCEN is U.N. black ops working on U.S. SOIL to PROTECT THE BANKS….Again I say, you just can’t make this stuff up…Now the cops are involved with the U.N. and letting them come into our cities and towns to surveil and accost American citizens?…OUTRAGEOUS!!! I see black op helicopters flying around all the time…If you can’t call the cops, who can you call? There was a prophecy I read that something would happen that would cause men to arm themselves….I think this could be it folks..

BTW…I always enjoy Karl’s market ticker articles…I love his style!

    • lvent says:

This helicopter surveillance is being conducted on the guise of checking on registered sex offenders…this has aparently been going on for a couple of weeks….I can see Sheriff’s walking the property..but the helicopter taking aerial photos while the sheriffs walk the property is insane…Helicopter surveillance is way over the top in my opinion and invading everyones privacy…..
Here is the link to the article…
Sheriff Keeps Watch on Sex Offenders:

      • lvent says:

Like Halloween is the only day that sex offenders need to be surveilled? Soon this will be going on routinely…invading everyones back yard privacy…What a horsecrap excuse, registered sex offenders “might” be holding hostages in their backyards is just another sneaky excuse they are using to spy on all of us with helicopters..I read there are infrared cameras in those copters..they can probably see right in our houses…! This is yet another abuse of power…

      • lvent says:

This sounds like a Halloween trick…by the Sheriff’s Dept..I am not amused…9 times out of 10 I would think they would have a kidnapping victim…inside their house…esp. in Chicago in the winter time…if is freaking cold…! A kidnapping victim would freeze to death in like a day or two..

IVENT, Sometimes I swear what you write is so ‘out there’ I have to look it up for myself:). Here is FINCEN. http://www.fincen.gov/statutes_regs/bsa/
      (:New Respect IVENT:)
It is a government index bureau operated by the Treasury Department that reports on individuals who make financial transactions over $10,000. Its tasks were enhanced by the USA Patriot Act. Supposedly designed to prevent money-laundering. . . . (smiles)
      Excerpt:
The Bank Secrecy Act of 1970 (or BSA, or otherwise known as the Currency and Foreign Transactions Reporting Act) requires U.S.A. financial institutions to assist U.S. government agencies to detect and prevent money laundering. Specifically, the act requires financial institutions to keep records of cash purchases of negotiable instruments, file reports of cash transactions exceeding $10,000 (daily aggregate amount), and to report suspicious activity that might signify money laundering, tax evasion, or other criminal activities.

(Deposits over $10,000 are always reported to the IRS). We are closer to living in a police state than we realize. I am familiar with private index bureaus that register individuals who have injuries, medical procedures or pre-existing illnesses or accidents to protect the insurance industry against fraud. Having worked with one, it was common practice to both file and report on individuals who had accidents or suffered injuries so the insurance industry will know if a claim or injury is pre-existing. The same process is utilized when people try t buy life insurance..
The FINCEN/BSA is a government agency. You just never know who is watching or why. No wonder the government prefers we be dumbed down. Ignorance is bliss:)

      • talktotennessee says:

Guess that doesn’t include the banks reporting on their own transaction fraud does it?

      • lvent says:

talktotennessee..I always say you can google what ever y I say…If I could make this stuff up, I would be a millionaire and not fighting fraudclosure…We all know the U.S. Treasury has been hijacked by the NWO..Timothy Geithner is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations…you can google that…it is all true..and they are working for the NWO..Everything I stated about what that FBI agent told me is true…Imagine how I felt when she told to call the cops on them….That was one of my first real clues that this was a massive conspiracy…I felt after the loan mod fiasco…something was rotten in Denmark but as I got further into it..it got just weirder and weirder…they want us to sound nuts…so no one listens to us…Another call to the FBI before that call was also interesting…It was over my loan mod and how I knew I qualified and I think something stinks..The FBI man told me, this is all the GSE’s fault….he asked me who owned my loan I told him, Fannie Mae, he told me to call Fannie Mae…I called Fannie Mae and after finally getting to a person..The man said “What would you like Fannie Mae to do for you?” I said, I want a loan mod…after explaining my story…he told me that Fannie Mae can do nothing, they have no control over what the servicer does..and then the phone froze..completely froze…I have never had that happen to me before..Freaked me out..let me tell ya…These people are rotten, no good to the core….Thanks BTW for verifying that info…Don’t trust, verify is my motto from now on!!

      • lvent says:

You are so right talktotennessee…I was alot more blissful when I was ignorant…Now it is a wonder I sleep at night…!

You are so right talktotennessee…I was alot more blissful when I was ignorant…Now it is a wonder I sleep at night…! But they do not scare me..they make me mad as hell..!

      • lvent says:

talktotennessee…Imagine what we don’t know…..that is the tricky part…They seem to have well planned out every aspect of this massive scheme..They deceived and screwed 99% of the population….Who could have a mind capable of all of this? This scheme is truly diabolical…and this is only the stuff they want us to know..!

i am proud of all of the occupy movements, including OccupyNashville.

how great that a nashville judge said he would not prosecute the protesters for curfew violation.

the People will not be stopped. that is for sure.

one of 5 in nashville are living in poverty.

      http://www.nashvillescene.com/nashville/ArticleArchives?tag=Nashville%20reporter%20arrest%20video

Police arrested a videographer with ‘The Nashville Scene.’ It made the news in Memphis tonight too. The media photographer told them he was a member of the media but they arrested him anyway and charged him with intoxication even though he was speaking clearly and videoed his own arrest. The quality isn’t perfect because they knocked him to the ground but it goes to show you how bad it is in Nashville when the Media can’t photograph without being attacked.

      • Fury says:

i’ve been at the capitol in nashville. i was really touched by the 61 yr old woman who said that she had been at the protest “in her heart” but when she saw that the protesters were being arrested, she went down there.

they are not going to stop the protests.

arresting the protesters will only bring more protesters out into the scene.

nashville politics—- there was a guy who ran for office from his jail cel and won!

  3. talktotennessee says:

Gov Haslam is a rubber stamp for the powerful Republican controlled state legislature. The legislature just passed law to require photo ids for all voters on the pretense that fraud at the polls is a problem. Not, the problem. The problem is that blacks, Hispanic often do not have photo ids plus TN does not require photo IDs for people over 60. The elderly in rural areas who do not drive or are disabled will have to have people take them to driver’s stations, often at a distance to get the required photo id. Many will not do this, as the legislature anticipates, so it will cut votes from voters who would vote to protect their Medicare and Social Security and the blacks and Hispanics. his translates to lost votes for Democratic candidates in the Legislature so the GOP can retain control in the State and in federal elections. Ergo, they disenfranchise these voters.

The legislature is probably up in arms over the influence that OCCUPY is growing in TN, a typical RED state that is big on the GOP agenda and big business. They recently enacted tort reform with caps to protect corporate manufacturers from lawsuits on product liability so TN will be a safe haven for manufacturers against lawsuits, particularly in manufacture of medical and biotech products.
I said all this to say that Governor Haslam has not touched Memphis OCCUPY people who are peacefully occupying downtown Memphis. His efforts in Nashville are designed to influence and prevent the movement from growing in the Capitol city. Now that it has made national attention in the NY Times, etc. there is national focus on TN. Good for the Chancellor that stopped the curfew order!!!
I doubt the Governor will stop trying, however. The TN Legislature, from their history, will find a way around it, like they removed access to the courts and are currently redistricting to cut Democratic representation..
If they can’t win legally they will make new law. That is our knee-jerk TN Republican controlled legislature with an emphasis on the JERK part.

And the nation frowned when the water hoses were used many years ago here in Alabama.
It was a picnic and everyone was laughing, but, they don’t show that laughing at getting soaked on TV.

They’re not cops or law enforcement, they’re paramilitary forces….

      ……and that is frightening!

      • Joseph Simpson says:

However Many Military and Veterans Like Myself are getting fed Up with these action’s by police on Innocent Americans. This type of thing happens in other countries and will not be tolerated here. Americans are Fed Up for very good reason and the ” Local Authority” needs to realize it is “We The People” who will prevail. Things are changing in America and we need to stand strong. Many of these Police Actions have been ruled ILLEGAL and the Officer may be Personally Liable under the Law.

      Holy shit….!

  7. Jeffrey Barnes says:

I might add that ‘roided up pinkertons/key stone cops and not people you want to directly confront, in any capacity. Occupy is non-violent, the other side is totally violent, as expected. RESIST!

  8. Hell No - No More Bleeping Bankster Bailouts says:

Can we form a national effort that would sue each of the robosigners in their state of residence? (possibly grouped resulting in one suit per employer?)

How can we organize such an effort? What is both practical and feasible?

  9. Jeffrey Barnes says:

Who knows? Maybe Dimon provided a “bonus” to offset the “cost” of tear gas, plastic flex handcuffs, and violent “evictions”.
